5 WAYS TO EASE INTO NOVEMBER

Feeling the shift? As we ease into November, does anyone else feel a gentle invitation to slow down? I’ve been really enjoying the quiet mornings—sitting by the fireplace with my coffee, setting my intentions for the day. There’s something so comforting about this time of stillness, don’t you think? Here are five simple practices I love that help me ease into the day.

  1. 5-Minute Meditation: Start your day with a few minutes of stillness. Even a short meditation can help center your thoughts and focus your mind. Try apps like Insight Timer (free) or Calm for guided 5-10 minute sessions. Or simply sit quietly and focus on your breath.

  2. Set Your Intention: Take a moment when you wake up to decide how you want to feel today. Whether it’s “peaceful,” “productive,” or “present,” setting an intention helps you move with purpose.

  3. Light a Candle: Add a cozy glow and inviting scent to your space. My favorite is the Frasier Fir candle—it fills the room with a comforting, holiday pine scent. Check it out here.

  4. Read 10 Pages of a Book: Taking time to read, even just a few pages, can clear your mind and spark inspiration. Whether it’s a novel or a self-help book, you’re making space for reflection or a little escape.

  5. Move Your Body: Whether it’s a walk or a stretch, moving your body helps clear your mind and boost your mood. A few minutes of movement releases endorphins, reducing stress and improving focus to help you feel more balanced for the day ahead.

I’d love to hear how you’re making space for stillness this month. Feel free to message and share what practices are working for you!
